Welcome to the first Peeps Newsletter providing you with information about our Spring Quilt Show in Lancaster in the Host Hotel. This is our second year of cooperation with the 22 year old Lancaster Quilt Show (formally known as the Apple Blossom Quilt Show) in the Continental Hotel across the road.
Last year we were a very modest show with a few vendors and a very fine quilt exhibit curated by Mary Kerr called Vintage Revisited. This year we expect to have more vendors for your shopping pleasure. We will have more wonderful quilt exhibits. These exhibits will include a collection of World War II quilts, the Mason Dixon Guilds collection of Two by Two quilts, and more.
This year we are adding classes to our show. These classes will be taught by vendors at either of the shows in the two hotels. Many of these vendors have taught at much larger shows and have been recognized internationally. Stay tuned as we select classes.
Finally, if there is sufficient interest, we will have a Tuesday evening Champagne and Chocolate Social with Mary Kerr discussing the quilts she is curating. For this preview of the quilts there will be a small charge.
